Hello everyone, I've been working with YouTube for a while now and have been trying to boost my video quality. Previously, I used Camtasia Studio 8 for editing and rendering, which worked well enough, but it didn’t have many features and couldn’t render 60fps videos. Recently, I switched to CyberLink PowerDirector 13 for a few weeks—it’s a solid editor at first, but it began freezing and crashing during bigger projects. Now I’m searching for a better option. Here are my requirements:
- Output 1080p at 60fps
- Allow stacking multiple videos and audio clips on the timeline
- Offer a variety of transitions
- Affordable price, ideally under $200 (one-time payment)
- Dark color theme to avoid visual strain

Thanks! :3

Choosing between Sony Vegas Pro and Adobe Premiere depends on what you need most.

I'll give Sony Vegas a try, and maybe I'll revisit Premiere Pro if Vegas doesn't suit me.

I gave the Sony Vegas Pro trial a shot for a short clip. It worked fine after some adjustments, though it’s not perfect. The main issue I noticed is the interface feels a bit clunky.
