The metrics overlay might have been disabled or hidden during gameplay, causing it to disappear when the game starts. Checking settings or permissions could help determine why it wasn't visible initially.

The main approach I noticed is using AMD ReLive for capturing. There’s also a reference to a "desktop recording" option, though it seems the overlay won’t appear unless the game runs in exclusive fullscreen. It would have been helpful to locate a better solution, but that’s the only information I found.
