Hey. I got a video camera and my videos are really long. Is there a program that lets me play them back at 2x or 4x speed? I looked online and only found VLC, but I don't see any way to change the speed there.

VLC actually works with different speeds, like changing them easily using your keyboard or by going to the "Speed" option under Playback in VLC. Check out their official help page for more info on how it works.

Hey, thanks for letting me know. I can change the speed by going to Playback >> Speed. It's not super easy though because you have to keep pressing it many times. Do you have any keyboard shortcuts? There is no info on that and the help menu just shows the version number. Thanks.

I went to a website called Make Use Of and looked at some links about how to use VLC media player on my Windows computer.

VLC is super easy to use. Just hit the plus or minus key to change how fast things play back. It's really simple, but there are a lot of cool keyboard shortcuts too, like pressing space to switch between playing and pausing the video.
