When videos play on the system or browser, color distortions appear in all RGB channels based on the content. I discovered this issue also affects Premiere when previewing videos. The problem seems linked to how the system handles video encoding and GPU settings. Today I learned that adjusting the default GPU to integrated graphics resolves it, especially with Windows 11 and the latest AMD drivers. Clues suggest YouTube’s configuration tweaks helped, while changing AV1/VP9 extensions in Firefox fixed the same. Deleting those extensions and testing different encoding options also improved the situation. Video 1 works smoothly in HDR preview, but the artifacts disappear during gameplay. It appears the GPU is functioning correctly—just not optimizing for newer video formats.
Hey everyone, we noticed an issue with your GPU. It could be due to a faulty driver, vBIOS corruption, or even a hardware defect. I'm checking if the warranty is still active. If not, contacting support might be the best next step.
Did they assist you? Remember, few BIOS updates are released, but AtiFlash lets you re-flash the current one. Find a tutorial that provides a link to a collection of verified vBIOS dumps—just be aware it’s a potentially dangerous task that often works well but can damage your card.
