does vga restrict ram speed? your ram is currently at 2400mhz while it should be running at 3200mhz. you're wondering if the vga cable is the reason for this limitation. since you've tried all possible fixes and haven't seen improvement, it might be the cable itself. don’t change voltage, enable xmp/docp, or anything else—just confirm the cable’s specifications.

VGA is not designed to restrict RAM. It serves as a video connection cable. It only controls the display's resolution and refresh rate.

Reinstalling won’t help. Search for SPD presets on your RAM sticks using tools like Aida64 or CPU-Z. Choose timings suited for 3200 Mhz, or note all available presets from 2400 to 3200 Mhz. Retrieve the specific timing for a preset and adjust it slightly slower, like a notch down. For instance, if your preset is 16-17-16, raise each number by 1-2, e.g., 17-18-17. Enter BIOS and manually set those settings. Try starting at 2666 Mhz; if successful, progress to 2800+, then 2933, 3000 Mhz, and finally aim for 3200 Mhz. Ensure your motherboard correctly sets the voltage—some sticks work at 1.2V at 2400 Mhz, but may need 1.35V or more for higher speeds. If BIOS doesn’t apply the right voltage, you might need to adjust it manually.

It's the HyperX Fury RGB 16GB kit with 8GB*2 and 3200MHz, but it's only running at 2400MHz. I thought about reinstalling the BIOS.
