I purchased this board on eBay as an untested motherboard to investigate the issue. My previous two boards were already fixed with basic fixes like resetting CMOS, updating BIOS, and cleaning. This one is in good shape physically, shows no visible damage, and all connectors look fine compared to the one I received, which had a strange coating and looked dirty. My current configuration includes: MSI MPG X570, Ryzen 5 3600 (also tested 2600), Radeon RX 6650 XT, 8GB RAM, HyperX Fury 3200mhz, and a BeQuiet PSU. Everything except the motherboard itself works properly in my old setup, and I’ve confirmed no problems there. I’ve tried resetting CMOS, changing the battery, updating BIOS via flashback, using both PCI-e slots for the GPU, and even swapped in a GTX 970. I’ve also tested HDMI and DP cables, suspecting the problem might be with the PCI-e lanes if I can’t get a signal. I’m wondering if I missed something or need to check for shorts.
