Hello. I own an Acer Nitro XV340CKP monitor and have been using it on an articulated arm for a long time. Recently, I tried to detach it from the arm, but one screw remains stuck. I think the nut inside the screen spins within the plastic casing. Anyone experienced with this issue has solved it? Or do you have a solution? Thanks.

It seems like the monitor might have been damaged during installation, possibly breaking off. Try pushing down on the screw with something under its top to get it moving. If that doesn<|pad|>, you may need to disassemble the monitor to reach the screw hole. You could also consider removing the screw head for a closer look. I've noticed some monitors where the top VESA screws are just a small metal clip in a molded area on the back cover.

I'll test the Needfuldoer fix. If it fails, I'll switch to using the Dremel.
