Hello everyone, I just installed this new computer yesterday and it’s running fine. I’ve been working on some assignments and sometimes join Zoom meetings, but I’m not sure if I’m using Wi-Fi or a hard drive. One of my friends had a similar setup during a break, but I want to get a more definite answer. My connection has 800 download and 600 upload speeds, so I think I should be okay. Also, I have another PC from before with almost the same parts, and it didn’t have this problem. (Perhaps because the old computer used an SSD while the new one uses an HDD?)

Consider changing the wireless frequency to check for improvements.

Yes, you're asking if changing to wireless will affect the outcome.

I thought you were connecting via Wi-Fi based on your heading. However, let's test wireless and check if that fixes the problem—it could be an unstable cable or Ethernet port.
