I've checked my setup: Asus ROG Dark Hero 8 (flashed to the latest, didn't help much), AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, Nvidia 3080TI, 32 GB RAM, 2 TB NVMe SSD, Windows 11. Recently I installed Windows 11 from 10 and swapped my RAM, but problems keep coming. After startup, around 60-70% of the time I face these odd issues: 1. In Windows 10, the media controls appear in the top left and stay there. In Windows 11 they’re gone, possibly because a feature was removed. 2. When opening Explorer or Chrome and creating a new tab, it won’t let me move it around—it just stays stuck in the same area. 3. VLC keeps flashing “building font cache please wait” repeatedly and becomes unusable. It stutters when video plays if the cache appears. It seems like multiple things are happening together, not one after another. I’ll try a game next time to see if it helps. Anyone know what might be going on?

Use a hard disk monitor to inspect storage devices. Run PassMark Memtest86 or Memtest86+ for RAM evaluation. Turn off hibernation if needed.

Likely the issue involves your hard drives, possibly related to NVMe devices. Solution idea: check each one individually.
