I chose the Ryzen 9 7950X but faced the slowest boot times ever. I'm unsure what's causing the problem and don’t usually need assistance with these issues. I checked online and saw others mention similar problems, but no clear solution was provided. My system specs include an R9 7950X, ROG CROSSHAIR X670E Extreme Trident Z5 with 16 GB RAM at 5200 MHz. I tried installing one RAM stick at a time, which didn’t help much. The BIOS update improved things slightly, but I’m not sure what else I should do. This might be an early issue that will resolve itself. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

It seems like you're anticipating early challenges, possibly related to the product's initial rollout, unless there are overlooked details in the bios.

Is this the initial startup or just another reboot? This boot duration is unusually slow, especially after any RAM changes on the Ryzen 7000 line.

It's often a slow start, typically taking about 90 seconds after the initial 50-55 seconds.

Was this your initial startup? Early BIOS boards often require extended post times when training memory.

90 Seconds was a good choice, though now it runs about 50-55 seconds versus my typical 8 seconds with the Ryzen 5000.

@SkyeAwoo Highlighted the extremely slow startup times in his TechPowerUp review, noting no progress even after testing the newest BIOS version. His feedback can be found by searching for "boot" on the site.

It seems the main point is about early adoption and the growing number of confirmations. Thanks for the support—it's not a big issue now, but it's still surprising how slow things are.

Just a update for anybody who stumbles upon this i found out that it was my vertical mouted GPU that caused this mostly.. after i restored it to the original orientation i dropped 30 seconds on boot time.

A virtual GPU can slow down loading because it adds extra processing steps, making the game wait longer before rendering assets.
