Hey everyone, I'm dealing with some strange problems with my Intel I218-V. When I ping 1.1.1.1 it keeps dropping twice, then shows a very slow 2000ms+ response, followed by a tiny 14ms hit. When I talk to the router, it takes over 1500ms, and for sites like google.com it only works with IPv6, then I get two timeouts before a brief high ping. If this is my chipset failing, anyone have suggestions for a better Ethernet PCI card?

Check if another device is connected to the network simultaneously. Does your computer perform background tasks or download updates while these frequent pings occur?

She’s switching to another machine but not doing anything demanding, and right now my laptop isn’t connected via Ethernet.
