Very slow frame rates in CS:GO despite a good computer setup.

I use a laptop to play the game and used to (around 6 months ago) achieve about 120 FPS with high settings. Now even at the lowest settings, I can barely reach 20 FPS. I have 16 GB of RAM, an i-7 4700 hq, and an Nvidia GTX850m. Any suggestions?

Check your CPU/GPU temperatures.
Delete your drivers using DDU and set the newest one from Nvidia.
Choose a better username next time, we all know your name is cringy.

Ensure graphic drivers are current, if needed, reinstall them. Also, use a hardware monitor to verify temperatures. Additionally, is this problem occurring in other games?

Completed everything, nothing altered. I don’t face similar problems in other games. I consistently run Overwatch at 70 fps.
