It performs its function as intended. You can apply it at maximum frame rate and then raise it to 95 fps if needed. It isn't a wasted feature.

Hi, adjust this setting to match your monitor's refresh rate. Typically it's around 59.94 or 60 frames per second. You can find this in the control panel under appearance and personalisation, then go to advanced settings and check the xHz value on the monitor tab. Enter that number as your maximum frame rate. This limit isn't mandatory but may help your card operate more efficiently by working only at that speed. I hope it assists. If your refresh rate exceeds 95Hz, skip this option.
