Searching for ways to improve a very slow Wi-Fi connection. Most devices in the house connect quickly, but my PC experiences extremely low speeds—sometimes as low as 0.50 Mbps or less. The speed varies between 0.5 Mbps and 30 Mbps, rarely exceeding 30. Anyone else facing this problem? Do you have any ideas or fixes that worked? Thanks!

Was das noch nach dem Aufbau des Computers passiert? Falls ja, aktualisiere die WiFi-Kartenfahrzeuge.

The surrounding equipment matches the same area. Signal quality changes depending on where you are, as even small distances can significantly affect performance because obstacles or reflections between your device and the router play a role. Additionally, certain devices might be nearer to sources of interference, whether from personal items or neighboring networks.

It was working well before, now it’s only recently begun slowing down. I’ll refresh the drivers and check the outcome.

Also verify the desktop setup—ensure the antennas remain firmly tight and unchanged. Still, my concern remains neighbors might be interfering via their Wi-Fi connections.

Keep updating drivers at all times. If it was once smooth, it might be slowing down to around 2-4GHz and causing typical interference on that frequency. Check if your router or access point offers a setting to push it to 5GHz—see how it affects performance. Your PC's Wi-Fi card should also allow forcing 5GHz. At the very least, you'll gain some insight.
