Very long startup with Aorus Elite Pro and AMD3600
Hello everyone, my new gaming PC has been running smoothly for seven months without any issues. However, yesterday something changed completely. The boot time to Windows now takes about 200 seconds instead of the usual 3-5 seconds. When I power on the PC, a command line appears, the keyboard lights up, then the Aorus logo shows up and the keyboard turns off. I can’t press any keys and can’t reach BIOS. This usually lasts around two minutes before the system restarts normally. I apologize for my English—I did my best to explain what happened. Thank you all for your help in resolving this issue. My PC specs: AMD R5 Ryzen 3600, Noctua cooler UH12s, 16 GB RAM DDR4 from Gigabyte 3200 MHz, B450 GIGABYTE Aorus Elite Pro, AMD RX 5700 XT, Corsair RM650x, 512 GB M.2 SSD from ADATA (estimated 1 TB from Seagate).
I haven't made any recent hardware or software updates yet. I'm still learning and ready to help!
I haven't updated the bios for a very long time and haven't made any changes.
I managed to reach the BIOS after several unsuccessful tries. I had to connect my keyboard via a different USB port. Then I adjusted the BIOS boot settings there and back. I also modified some settings I found online, which resulted in the first PC launch taking 11 seconds. I plan to try turning off and turning on the PC again to see what happens.
I attempted to power off the PC, restart it, and it returned to normal. It seems a change in the BIOS might have resolved the booting issue. Thanks for your time!
