Very large memory consumption caused by a service running on the host process in Windows 10 Home.
The setup was complete with Discord active by the time of the screenshot. It used up 12 GB out of 16 GB of memory while idle. I attempted to turn off Superfetch, restricted background apps via privacy settings, applied the latest Windows Update, ran a SFC command after searching online, and checked for driver updates using the asus app. Anyone with experience or solutions for this issue would be appreciated. Laptop model: ASUS Strix G 731-GU (Malaysia SKU) with 16 GB RAM.
