Very important situation here.
I have ordered parts to build a budget pc with ryzen 4350g (the price was good). My mother board is MSI B450M-A PRO MAX. Because of many different prices and brand of RAM at diffrent places i haven't ordered them yet. The Silicon Power RAM is 3200mhz and price is very reasonable and the brand seems OKish but I'm not sure if it will support my build. And there is not much information about this. Can anyone help ?
Almost every board or chip will be set to 3200Mhz. That should work. If not, it will fall back to a slower speed outside of XMP/DOCP.
The board and CPU are quite outdated, but yes, motherboards often include older BIOS versions for compatibility.
According to what I understand, RAM brands will operate at their specified rates. The variation between budget and premium RAM mainly comes from the quality of the heatsink. I've heard stories about OLOy RAM having issues with heatsink detachment, but that's not typical for most RAM. Also, SP is a mid-range option.
