The release happens today on PC with available keys, but the numbers differ across platforms. It’s possible the pricing or availability varies, so checking both sites and your preferred method is wise. You’re not alone in wondering about authenticity—always verify before purchasing.

When purchasing from G2A, opt for sellers with high ratings and consider using the shield. For CDKeys, simply buy directly.

They’re probably genuine. I’ve purchased several games from G2A, but you should consider your options before buying.

These platforms act as basic "grey imports" from software markets where international keys are purchased from countries with weaker currencies or lower costs, such as Russia. They then distribute them online. Most of the keys are genuine and function properly, and G2A provides key insurance. However, it's always wise to buy at your own risk. The ethics of taking advantage of such systems remain questionable either way.

TB was really stressed about this match. Some of his remarks seem a bit out of place considering how old the game is and what it’s like to play it. "I want more weapons" – in 10,000 BC, how many weapons existed? Haha! Also, there’s a day-one update that lets you download and install before playing, and it runs smoothly at 1080p with high frame rates even on older hardware. TB’s concerns about performance came a bit too soon. I’d recommend checking out other players’ reviews instead of just focusing on TB’s opinions.

TB saw it as an argument that Primal lacks additional weapons or upgrades. The environment matched fewer weapons, though it still felt a bit behind compared to FC4. He mentioned reviewing the game during a period without patches and no ready drivers. As he noted in the video, he plans to release more content once game-ready drivers become available.

Absolutely, I understand his viewpoint from that angle, but I believe these titles should be evaluated within their own time and context. Just because a game is similar to the next one doesn’t mean it has to match its features or surpass the previous one in quality. Making such comparisons can feel unfair. You shouldn’t assume a game set in ancient times needs as many weapons or upgrades as a modern one.

What bothers me about TB’s assessment is that he labeled it “Far Cry Unity” without proper context. For comparison, AC Unity had numerous issues across all platforms before and after release, yet still struggles today. FC Primal, on the other hand, performed well at launch on consoles and remains stable on PC. His comments seem out of place here.

I think TB might be disenchanted with the series overall, and his bias shows through. He appeared frustrated, which suggests his perspective wasn’t entirely neutral. Many rely on his reviews, so I respect his opinion but don’t take it at face value. As for the drivers, they’re unnecessary and likely won’t be needed since the game uses the same engine as FC4. The day one patch seems to have resolved the performance problems he mentioned. It runs smoothly now—though I’m not sure about SLI support.

It doesn't matter how the setting is designed to justify anything; if it reduces enjoyment, it's a valid concern for the reviewer. This approach feels too narrow in a game where you manage and ride different Mesolithic animals, and even using an owl’s perspective as a scouting tool stands out. It's acceptable that these elements exist, but why not explore more creative solutions? I find it hard to accept they didn't invent a broader arsenal beyond basic weapons. Personally, TB's comments seemed less about the actual count of weapons and more about a lack of depth in combat mechanics. Perhaps a more complex system with varied attacks—swings, blocks, dodges—would have made the limited weapon set less frustrating. Still, it doesn't appear they attempted such complexity.
