For gaming, Home is sufficient. For features like BitLocker and RDP, choose Pro. Note: I wouldn't recommend BitLocker. If you need encryption tools, opt for open-source options instead of software with likely government backdoors.

The differences remain unchanged. Regardless of the version, joining a domain isn't possible with Windows 10 Home, but it is achievable with Pro and Enterprise editions. BitLocker also varies between the editions.

I’ll add another option for Windows Home. There’s nothing convincing me that the added features will noticeably slow things down.
