I've been using 5G for a few months now and experimented with it as the main connection—it's not very reliable. It functioned perfectly for a week, but then it would suddenly experience high latency without warning. So I switched back to DSL as my primary option and kept my consoles on 5G only when downloading. Since I don't usually play online games, it works well for those too. Still, most of the time everything runs smoothly and I don't encounter problems with downloads.
i live near a tower that's super close. my plan gives me 150mb for half a gigabyte, but it's unstable and changes a lot. isp landline isn't reliable either—it's slow and only works one way. verizon has two tos options, but both are really bad.
My tower is roughly a half-mile away as shown on Google Earth, yet numerous houses lie in between, which caught me off guard to receive 500Mbit. The issues don’t appear under poor weather conditions; it seems to manage that well, though there are some unusual factors with the Three network. It tends to be more problematic for home broadband APN compared to mobile service.
