Hi guys, i dont have a cpu for the time being but ive already put together all the parts. Just to be ure, my motherboard lights up but non of the fans are spinning. Is this suppose to happen? Is the cpu controlling the fan? Thanks a lot im veey noob here

Typically, motherboards aren't built to start without a CPU. I'd avoid that. Still, you might encounter unusual behavior when attempting to power on with a faulty or missing CPU. Don't interpret these events as an indication your motherboard is defective.

The Z370 isn't compatible with the Xeon 3 v5 CPU.

A PC without a CPU will remain idle until it arrives, so don't rush anything before it comes. Why is one RAM module showing red while others are green? Are you planning to use a GPU or rely solely on the CPU with a GPU?

The rams look green probably because of the lighting. I’m using the GPU in another setup. Also, it seems one of the fan hub connectors to the SATA cable might be damaged.
