Hello! To verify your PC setup, you’ll need diagnostic tools such as a system diagnostic utility or a hardware testing program. These can help ensure all components are functioning correctly after assembly. Let me know if you need recommendations!

Set up the operating system and check functionality. You can run stress tests on the CPU using tools like Prime95 or similar, and for the GPU you can use Heaven. These steps aren't mandatory, but they're safe to try.

Ensure your PC functions properly by checking the BIOS settings to confirm the correct CPU voltage. Some users reported damaging 4790K chips by using them on a Z87 board without updating the BIOS, causing a sudden voltage increase of about 0.5 volts and resulting in CPU failure.

Consider testing AIDA64 (formerly Everest) by the team at Lavalys. These diagnostic tools evaluate performance across hardware, software, and sensors.

You can review the BIOS settings to confirm all drives and fans are listed. If anything is missing, inspect your cables—this issue occurred during fan setup with Corsair. For performance checks, try prime95 for CPU testing or GPU benchmarks. As long as the system boots, the remaining configuration should be straightforward.

When you restart, it boots into BIOS, CPU, motherboard, power supply, and RAM functions are operational. Using the GPU displays on screen also works. If drives appear in BIOS, they function properly. Installing Windows and accessing drives confirms functionality. After OS boot and driver installation, test with YouTube or WMP to verify audio. For thorough testing, use a stress tester or benchmark and monitor temperatures. Your CPU should stay idle between 30-45°C (40-50°C with stock cooler), and peak temps should be under 85°C (60-75°C with aftermarket coolers).
