Hey there, I need some assistance here. It’s a bit of a long story, but I got a fresh motherboard recently because the old one was broken. I thought it was just for a friend, but he didn’t verify my processor. Now I’m facing a small issue. Can anyone confirm if the AMD Ryzen 5 1600 works with the Prime A520M-K? I haven’t found any clear info about compatibility.

This model isn't suitable. The ASUS website lists it as a 3xxx CPU or newer, but the product description specifies it's for 3xxx CPUs only.

Not supported by this model. The A520 boards aren't compatible with 1000 or 2000 series Ryzen processors.

You'll need an X470, B430, X370, B350 or A320 motherboard to run the first generation Ryzen processor.
