I’m looking to improve my graphics card situation, aiming for at least a GTX 750 Ti—or perhaps someone can suggest another card that performs well with my current setup. I have approximately $50 to spend, and I’m not planning to purchase anything immediately. I'm browsing eBay but encountering a significant amount of products originating from China, and I’m concerned about their authenticity. My motherboard is GA-78LMT-S2.

Some recently released graphics cards, such as the RX 550, can occasionally function in older computer setups. The compatibility varies depending on the specific system. Investing in a future upgrade to your motherboard, processor, and RAM might be worthwhile.

You are right, eBay contains many fake device advertisements. What processor and power supply unit do you presently have?

I recommend considering these graphics cards: a Gigabyte RX 550 or an Sapphire RX 560.

The PCIe connection isn’t the issue. The RX 500 series graphics cards are incompatible with motherboards utilizing non-UEFI BIOS settings. Open the command prompt and enter the following instruction. If the output indicates “winload.efi,” it signifies a UEFI system. Conversely, if “winload.exe” is displayed, the motherboard utilizes a legacy BIOS configuration.
