hi, I've encrypted a whole 2 tb external HDD with Veracrypt. while doing so, i checked the box "allow files bigger than 4gb". The problem is, in real life, i can't copy big files like system images that are larger than 4 gb. Do you know how to fix this or why does it happen? thank you from ISRAEL edit: i just downloaded a newer version of veracrypt and tried encrypting it again. i'm using a fresh windows 11. if something goes wrong, let me know how to upload my system specs because they have forums. if needed, i will check that myself. thanks once more

Check your post to make sure it has all the computer parts (like CPU, RAM, hard drive) and what operating system you're using. Make sure to include this info so people can help you better. You might see a few changes on their website now. If that doesn't fix your problem, go look at their forums for advice.

Update your post to show your full system hardware specs and the OS you're using. Look at Veracrypt here: https://www.veracrypt.fr/en/Home.html. It seems things have changed a bit. Check what version you are running, then reinstall or update if needed. If that doesn't work, check their forums for more help.

Which file system do you use? If it's Fat32, you probably have a limit on how big your files can be.
