Hello fellow forum members, I’m sharing my concept for an operating system named Ventium OS. You might wonder what Ventium OS is—well, it’s an open-source initiative built on the NT kernel. With Ventium OS, you’ll have full control over every aspect of the system, allowing you to tailor it exactly to your needs. It supports running old games through an integrated emulator, lets you run several OSes simultaneously, and even offers customization for boot screens and blue screens. If you have any ideas or feedback, feel free to share! Here’s what I’ve developed so far...

Good luck! Hope it works out. Share the update if you're satisfied. For the design, aim for a clean, intuitive Apple feel.

Some Linux distributions have a bold appearance, while most seem designed with a more straightforward look.

You're asking about the specifics of implementation. The system's core is exclusive to Microsoft, remains closed, and is safeguarded by multiple legal protections.

I take it to mean it should resemble the core concept, not replicate it directly or rely on it as a starting point

This looks like an interesting project which I wanna try out. Since I have a YouTube channel once this is somewhat ready to test out, I want to post a video about it on my channel. Since theres a ton of customisation as you state, I'll definitely be looking into that! I just wanted to ask a question though: How far in computer hardware specs would this go in terms of age? (I wanna try this on an old laptop I bought for things like this for YouTube and it's around 15 years old. Its equipped with a 1GHz VIA C3 processor with 128MB RAM with 64MB video memory).

It's likely there will be .exe files and Windows extensions, plus potential support for Mac and Linux executables. Mubeen
