Looking for tips on freezing time in Vegas Pro 12.0? I discovered a video that might help, but the audio doesn’t freeze when recording. I’m trying to figure out how to make both footage and sound stay still. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

In short, freezing time means displaying the same image repeatedly over an extended period.

@ lovingGamer First make a single frame selection and separate it from the rest of the video (press s). Because it's a single frame, you can just simply copy and paste it to fit the time duration you want. Then just make a new video layer and add your text. It's different if you want to slow down time a lot, and you'll have to hold ctrl while extending the video for the slow effect. Then if you want even more, you can use velocity.A little more realistic as well. Example of slowed time (at 00:36) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SewZIDVony0

Yes, I noted you'd like the audio to mute when the scene is paused.

I'm not sure about the latest features, but do you want to speed things up or pause everything completely?
