I experimented with numerous solutions and reviewed every tutorial, but I’m still unsure. My configuration is simple: Intel Core 2 Duo e8400 with DDR3 8GB (two 4GB modules at 1600MHz). It’s a 500GB HDD, a 2GB GPU, and a 500W power supply. Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit is installed now. In BIOS it shows only 4GB RAM, while other tests say 8GB total with hardware reserved. People suggested running at 1066MHz, but the performance seems limited. No clear fix has been found so far—my best guess is it’s due to high-density RAM causing issues. Any ideas or alternatives?

Ensure you have solid RAM installed or check for any problems with the RAM slot on your board. On DDR3 systems, the memory slots are typically the first and third positions for dual-channel configuration.
