Imagine you have two memory kits: one with 8GB at 3600MHz CL18 and another with 8GB at 3733MHz CL19. When you connect both to a motherboard and fill all four slots, could there be problems? Will the system run slower than the slowest part or affected by delays? I hope this isn’t already covered elsewhere.
Combining memory patterns isn't assured, it could succeed or fail. If it does, performance will be limited—everything runs at the lowest speed and poorest timing (cl39 here).
