The second has two digital strips, each with its own headers and jumpers for power selection. The third is a set of two digital strips with their own power connectors. Each header and jumper serves a specific purpose—like controlling color or power distribution—to make installation and customization easier. They’re all LEDs, but the variations help with setup and functionality.
Manufacturers of RGB components are often shortsighted and self-interested. Besides ARGB, iCue, and other proprietary formats, there are countless possibilities. I’m skeptical, but I believe a common standard will emerge or be imposed by success in the future. The present state is quite absurd.
