I've been enjoying Valorant since the early days of the beta. My best connection I've seen is 43ms to a server in Illinois. Living in Eastern PA, I expected even lower latency—around 15ms to Ashburn, VA. Yet I'm consistently getting 59ms there. Northern Virginia is roughly a third of the distance to Illinois, yet I still experience higher ping. My neighbor nearby has about 24ms to Virginia when we play together. For reference, my ping is steady in CS and Siege, with solid down/up speeds and no sudden jumps. Some folks suggest routing issues might be the cause. I've tested using multiple VPNs and routing tools like Haste/WTFast, but nothing helped. While 45-70ms isn't terrible, it's definitely noticeable and bothersome. I sometimes have to aim more carefully in DMs. I'm not sure if this is the right spot for this discussion, but I posted on Valorant Reddit and it was removed.
