You're wondering if the warranty will help after your motherboard was damaged by ESD. It depends on the manufacturer's policy and whether the damage is covered. You should check the warranty details or contact their support to see if a replacement or repair is offered. If not, you may need to purchase a new board.

You can verify the issue by checking the warranty details in the documentation that came with the motherboard. When you decide to file a claim, avoid mentioning any suspicion of ESD. Simply state that the product didn’t function as expected when it came out of the box.

If it sustained any damage beyond a physical break (such as a broken DIMM slot or bent pins), you can still get it serviced. It’s okay to not explain the reason for the damage, since they won’t care what happened. Just make sure you meet their requirements to confirm the motherboard is the issue.

It seems it could be an ESD issue. The PCI-E port might not be detecting the GPU properly, and it stops working after some time.

You lack evidence confirming it was esd. Proceed with rma and note it doesn't function.

I mentioned the PCI-e slot issue to the retailer already. They've agreed to investigate it.
