VAC was prohibited without cause...
It was just five minutes ago when I joined my friends in a competitive CS:GO match. I was leading with a score of 24-10 in the 25th round and were on the verge of winning. Suddenly, I received a message saying "VAC banned from secure server." I’ve never hacked before—every time I play it’s completely genuine. My Steam library is essential to me, so I’m worried about this ban. Do I have a way to appeal it or should I contact support? I’m really hoping for help right now. Thanks, Valve... Edit #2: I’ve also saved the last three game recordings, which might be helpful later.
You might attempt it, though Valve asserts that VAC bans remain in effect http://www.valvesoftware.com/contact/
VAC checks your PC for security threats using the same method as anti-virus scans for malware. You might have connected a device with possible risks.
It seems like someone with special abilities interfered, making it impossible for you to succeed. That’s clearly unfair and unacceptable. I’d definitely reach out to Valve about this. Such actions are definitely cheating. By the way, did you say anything unkind to them? Even if they acted that way, they shouldn’t be able to eliminate you. I’d be really upset about it. I don’t play games much, but I still find it wrong to see others treated this way.
You're likely to receive a standard reply that merely replicates their terms. A genuine answer is rare, though it might be possible.
They caught you, but VAC doesn’t block people like Willy Lilly without a clear reason. Aim for ESEA premium and experiment with the big players if you aim to succeed. Avoid wallhacking or aimbotting.
You're being honest—no shortcuts ever crossed. If you tried, you'd be lying.
