No verified instances have been reported for the preview version of 10 triggering vac bans. Concerned about accessing vac servers during this testing phase. Planning to delay deployment until the official full release arrives.

Since it's still developing, certain files might behave unexpectedly or interfere with apps in unusual ways. False bans from programs are possible, so a test version should be able to trigger issues too.

It might seem odd because developers typically don't directly alter game files, so the idea of injection feels unusual.

It might happen but shouldn’t. Anticheats relies on predefined rules for recognized hacking tools, similar to how antivirus software defines what constitutes a virus versus something else. Valve must manually input these rules, making it highly improbable that an employee would add such a monitoring system in Windows 10. Also, using a beta version as a daily driver is a poor approach.
