I frequently played games without enabling V-Sync, maintaining a fixed 60 frames per second. Now, my games are exceeding 60fps, resulting in screen tearing, which is disruptive and I require a solution.

Which GPU do you have? I assume a graphics driver update turned it off. For Nvidia it’s in their control panel, under “manage 3d settings” IIRC.

I do not possess a dedicated graphics card; the issue stemmed from an Intel integrated graphics driver update containing an automatic VSync feature. This feature functioned effectively in my games without requiring manual VSync activation, offering superior performance compared to the game's built-in VSync option. However, following the driver update, this functionality ceased, resulting in a loss of previously achieved performance and causing frustration.
