Utilize AMD OSX for evaluating applications
I've noted this as a solved question since I didn't realize hackintosh discussions were prohibited at the time. Sorry about that. Hello! I think this forum is the right spot for sharing this, but if not, I apologize ahead of time. This is my first visit. Now I'm trying to develop a cross-platform app and need to evaluate it on various operating systems. Testing on Windows and Linux is straightforward, but since I don't own an Apple Mac or know anyone who does, I'm uncertain about using it for MacOS testing. I considered running Sierra or High Sierra inside VirtualBox or using a second bootable HDD, but I doubt it would work because Apple uses Intel processors and my machine has an AMD CPU. I also found AMD OSX, which is what I was hoping to explore. Would it be acceptable to test my app on AMD OSX via VirtualBox or a second bootable drive until I can afford a Mac? Thanks! - sh1Ft_
Purchase a refurbished Mac for around 200 dollars. It should work with the latest OS version available.
Apologies, I wasn't aware. I'll keep it in mind for later. Planning to delete the subject, though I doubt I can do it.
