Hey everyone, I’m facing an issue with my IO fan and the back fan. All three have RGB lighting and are plugged in—my Corsair model connects to the RGB and fan header behind the case that came with the case, while the IO fan uses the same header but has its RGB mounted separately and connects to an RGB header on my motherboard. Only one green light is currently lit. I’m not sure what to do; if you need more details or a photo, just let me know.
4 pin and 3 pin configurations exist, though the 3-pin resembles a 4-pin without a pin. The RGB connector from your fans appears similar to a 4-pin setup but missing one terminal. If you connect a 4-pin to a 3-pin, you risk underpowering the system by switching 12V to 5V. Conversely, swapping a 3-pin for a 4-pin might work with certain adapters, though it’s not standard and could damage your LEDs. In your case, the fan connectors seem to be a 4-pin DRGB 12V connector, possibly missing one middle pin.
