Usually, a USB mouse becomes sluggish or fails to function properly.
I purchased a new laptop and installed Windows 10. My USB mouse keeps stuttering when I move it, almost stopping completely. I've tried everything from drivers to changing the mouse settings and ports, even adjusted the battery management. The stutter happens less often while playing games—every 4-5 minutes—and not during regular use. My wireless mouse works perfectly fine. I'm unsure what to do since the wireless model isn't designed for gaming. Please help!
Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Could you share where you obtained the Windows 10 installer? What is the type and model of your laptop? It might be helpful to check if there are any pending BIOS updates. If you need to upgrade multiple BIOS versions, consider updating them one by one rather than all at once. Also, could you tell me about the make and model of your mouse and the pad?
I don't fully grasp the first question, unlike the others: the laptop is a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ACH6, I also have no idea how to update the BIOS, and the mouse is a Redragon M608, which functioned perfectly or not at times, but it worked smoothly on my old PC.
