Hi, I’m experiencing issues after installing the Windows 10 developer update. Bit Defender is crashing, a drive keeps appearing, and Microsoft Word crashes during saves. What’s the best way to get back to normal Windows 10 without losing data? Thanks.

Using Insider builds carries personal responsibility if files are lost or corruption happens. No one else is at fault except you. In settings, under Update & Security, you’ll find a Recovery option that lets you revert to an earlier system state—though I’m not sure how to use it without opting in.
