The optimal choice would be Prime the 26.6 version.
Alternatively, using Asus Realbench provides actual usage data for your CPU. Prime95 is limited to showing maximum 100% load temperatures and doesn't simulate real-world conditions as effectively.

Can I apply prime 95 for a stress test on my 4790k? The model I own is 27.7. Use OCCT instead of prime 95.
