I plan to merge them into one cable with four pins each, then split it again at the garage to create two smaller cables. This method works so far, but I'm curious about the reasoning. My goal is to carry PoE through one of these cables, and I want to confirm if that's feasible. Just a note, this might seem unusual, but one cable isn't intended for Ethernet traffic—it will handle an analog signal. That's why a switch wouldn't be suitable.
