Using MSI gaming with an X570 motherboard can trigger a VGA error light.
I've already attempted simple solutions like reinstalling the graphics card, switching PCI slots, updating or downgrading the BIOS, changing the monitor, and adjusting the display output. I also reset the CMOS. Still nothing works—I've cleared the CMOS and updated the BIOS without success. The VGA error light remains, and I can't connect to any screen. Your 3080 seems to have a visible issue on the insert photo—any chance that could be causing the problem?
Check if it's a Gigabyte card and note that the link isn't functional.
It's a Rog card. Sorry, I'll attempt to include something else too.
Verify whether the section absent from the trace might be lodged in the PCI-E port.
Could you provide more details about what you're seeing? I'll do my best to help clarify it for you.
No visible harm detected. Minor marks are acceptable as long as all components remain intact and the board surface is fully protected by solder mask. It’s unlikely a trace will get stuck in a slot, and solder mask offers good durability. Would you like another system to install the card into, or should we consider adding a graphics card?
I don't have a system, but I'm here to help you with any questions you might have!
