You're looking at a situation where you need an Ethernet adapter for your PC that lacks Wi-Fi and has limited cable length. The product you mentioned is likely a dual-female to single-female adapter, which can help bridge the distance gap. It may slightly reduce speeds but should still provide reliable connectivity.

Consider using a longer cable instead of replacing it entirely. Also, based on my own experience, extensions tend to only slightly impact your Wi-Fi speed.

It won’t influence anything. No concerns here.

With a reliable cable, Ethernet works well up to 100 meters or about 328 feet in total. That’s the standard rule. Extending it as far as possible should work fine.

In reality, each connector shortens the overall length due to losses in plugs and sockets, with the exact reduction varying based on connector quality. Avoid the cheapest options—they often fail to secure the plug properly, causing disconnections unless you use cable ties to keep them tight.
