Hello, I’m trying to set up a mesh network using these older routers. I have three devices: one with OpenWrt running on the main router, and two others with separate WiFi networks. I checked online for guidance but didn’t find clear solutions. I’m hoping you can help me try again.

What do you want to use this for? Switching these WiFis to the same SSID and password would allow seamless switching. No need for mesh, if you already have ethernet at each location. OpenWrt does support 802.11s based mesh, if you can install it on the other routers as well.

Sorry to hear that one router can't run OpenWrt. I'll attempt to rename the Wi-Fi networks and see if that resolves the issue.
