Hello. Your Windows 2 in 1 tablet (with detachable keyboard) offers 2GB RAM, an Atom X5 Z690 chipset, and 32GB storage. Since you’re upgrading to a gaming laptop, you might find it useful as a second screen when traveling, especially because its battery lasts long. I’m wondering if it’s feasible to use it as a secondary display for your laptop. Who would be the best person to help with this setup? The tablet features a 10-inch touchscreen and comes with a separate stand.

The tablet cannot function as a secondary display unless you employ a specific capture tool.

Several third-party applications enable tablets to function as secondary displays. For instance, Splashtop is a well-known option. It operates on a subscription basis, which might deter some users. The service supports connections via Wi-Fi and mobile networks.

Yep, Drak3 noted it works with any Windows 10 version still supported (like v1607, v1703, etc.). Also, curious—does your 2-in-1 model come with a Surface 3 (non-pro)?

It wasn't a premium product. I used this tablet (Linx 12V32) for my tasks until I found a better option.

The program Synergy is utilized across four distinct applications. All tasks are performed using a single mouse and keyboard, streamlining the workflow.
