Using a water cooler for Ryzen 9 can help manage heat effectively.
I've used a Ryzen 9 3900X for two months now, and lately the temperatures have kept rising to around 95°C even when idle. My concern is whether I should disassemble it or try other fixes. I adjusted the fan speeds in the BIOS, but none of them reacted. What should I do next?
A recent patch removed the panel, causing the water cooler and all components to become very hot. I disconnected it and ran benchmarks with 22 threads, achieving much cooler temperatures around 81°C.
I’ll review them and remove any parts that seem problematic. It looks like fans are functioning properly, and the BIOS update might be needed. I’d like to increase the fan speed since this ASUS motherboard doesn’t respond well. The current thread count is around 79-81, which works for me because thermal throttling sounds normal before then.
Removed the top section and it’s around 75°C under full load. Likely an airflow issue. Problem resolved, thanks! LMAO, sorry for the update.
