You're wondering if connecting the QXG-10G1T to an ASUS Prime X570-Pro will activate the WOL function. It depends on your motherboard's BIOS settings—specifically, whether the "Power On By WOL" option is enabled for that board's LAN adapter. This feature may apply only to certain chipsets or configurations. Double-check your motherboard manual or manufacturer website for confirmation.

Check if your board allows enabling wake via PCIe. If absent, it may rely on a shared WOL setting or always be active; the board likely does support this feature.

I own a Prime X470-Pro and know it functions with WWOL alongside my Intel AX200. The exact BIOS adjustment isn’t clear to me, but it’s confirmed to work.

I believe the BIOS setting permits any network card to power on the system, but you may need to turn it on individually in the operating system (possibly requiring separate activation for each card) and send the MAC address of the other device when it starts up. However, I’m still uncertain about this.
