Your current MSI Z370 A-Pro board is already quite capable. Upgrading to a more expensive or newer motherboard might not significantly boost performance unless you're pushing your system to its limits.

Performance gains are limited, maybe around 3% at most, and likely not that significant. Boosting speed is better with an overclockable CPU.

Only when your present board's powder supply is restricted will your CPU be affected. If not, then there isn't much difference.
