Uses only one RAM module, not two.
¡Hola!
If my slot wasn't working, my previous RAM wouldn't function either, but now everything is running perfectly. The RAM passed testing and works on a different setup, so the issue must have been with the DIMM.
Assume the RAM DIMMs are placed in the 2nd and 4th slots away from the CPU socket. Given that AM5 remains a fresh platform, consider updating the BIOS if it hasn’t been refreshed recently—it often improves memory consistency and might resolve this problem.
The measured voltage is 1.25V. I plan to attempt this once the components are received.
They are placed in those designated areas. I'm confident I have the most recent BIOS, but I'll double-check just to be sure!
Hello, thank you for your patience. I contacted Corsair, who confirmed it was a defective RAM module. They processed my return and sent a replacement part. However, the retailer I purchased it from refused to honor my warranty.
