Hi everyone, here are the issues I'm facing and what I'm trying to fix.

1. The PS4 controller doesn't work properly in CS GO even though it works on Steam. When I enable controllers, nothing changes.
2. My GTX 1070 gives around 120 FPS at startup, but drops to 30 or less during gameplay. I'm unsure how to check GPU usage since the fans aren't spinning and the CPU is a Ryzen 1600.

Are there alternative methods that utilize your GPU? Regarding the controller: CS GO aren't designed for use with a controller, which is why no additional support has been implemented.

It sounds like someone would try to attach a potato to a rocket and launch it into space—what an imaginative idea! Who would come up with that?

I don’t have any background processes running and for the controller, I just moved to PC. Master race is still getting used to the mouse and keyboard.

You'd be better off using a racing wheel.

It's important to connect keyboard and mouse with the controller manually if official support isn't available. Just keep in mind this will require more effort than the benefits might offer.

CS.GO has limited functionality. I tried using my Dualshock in CS:GO just for fun—it was terrible. You can’t pause, you can’t change characters you watch, and you can’t purchase weapons. Still, it might work. Go to settings and see if there’s an option to switch between controller and keyboard/mouse.
